Why we started Omnitura
Our founders — Cikgu Hafiz Mansor and Cikgu Suraya Rashid — spent years coaching JPJ examiners in their previous careers as a long-haul coach driver and a road-safety inspector respectively. They watched too many friends, nieces and neighbours emerge from large industrial driving schools with a licence in hand but no real confidence on the road.
Omnitura was built to fix that. Smaller cohorts. The same instructor for the full journey. Transparent pricing on the website. And a serious commitment to the boring parts of teaching — like proper mirror routines, gentle clutch control, and an honest conversation about anxiety before it grows.

How we’re different from the big driving schools
- One coach, one car, all the way through. We never assign you to whichever instructor happens to be free on the day. The pairing is set on day one and stays.
- Fortnightly progress reports. Parents and partners receive a quick WhatsApp note covering what was covered, where you struggled, and what we’re working on next.
- A small fleet, well kept. Just twelve vehicles, all under three years old, serviced every fortnight at the same workshop — never “sorry, the brakes are still a bit soft today”.
- Honest test booking. We only schedule your JPJ test once we are confident you can pass our internal rehearsal. No bargain volume targets.
Our coaching philosophy
We teach for life, not just for the JPJ test. That means we spend the first three sessions developing your scanning habit — the unconscious sweep of mirrors, blind-spots and forward sight-lines that separates a confident driver from one who passes a test and then freezes on the LDP.
The JPJ test result becomes a happy by-product of being a careful, observant driver. So far it’s working — 91% of our learners pass on the first attempt and the rest pass on their second within six weeks.
“We don’t want our learners to memorise the test route. We want them to be safe on every road for the next forty years. That’s the only metric we measure ourselves on.” — Cikgu Hafiz, Lead Instructor
