Refund Policy.

1. The headline rule

If you have completed fewer than four practical lessons and decide Omnitura is not the right fit for you, we will refund 80% of the unused balance of your package fee within seven working days. The 20% retention covers the JPJ administrative work, instructor pairing time, and KPP portal access that have already been invested.

2. Eligibility window

The 80% refund applies if you notify us within 30 calendar days of your first practical lesson. After 30 days, lesson packs become non-refundable but remain transferable.

3. How to request a refund

1. Email [email protected] with your full name, NRIC/passport number, package name, and a brief reason.
2. We’ll acknowledge within one working day and schedule a 15-minute call to understand what didn’t work.
3. The refund is processed via the original payment method within seven working days of approval.

We genuinely want to hear what didn’t work — not to talk you out of it, but to improve the program for the next learner.

4. What’s never refundable

• JPJ government fees already paid on your behalf (KPP01 test fee, L licence fee, P licence card fee) — these are payable to JPJ, not Omnitura.
• Sworn translation fees for foreign licence conversion (paid to the translator at the time of service).
• Practical lessons that have already taken place at the published per-hour rate (RM 95/hr for car, RM 110/hr for motorbike).
• No-show fees and same-day cancellation fees.

5. Transfer instead of refund

An alternative to refund: you may transfer your unused package balance to a family member, colleague, or friend at any time (no fee). They simply need to sign their own enrolment form.

6. Pausing instead of refund

If life intervenes (illness, job posting overseas, family emergency), we can pause your package for up to 12 months at no cost. You resume from exactly where you left off, with the same instructor where possible.

7. JPJ test failure

Failing the JPJ test does not entitle you to a refund — but the Full Drive Pack already includes one complimentary re-test rehearsal, and we pass the JPJ re-booking fee through at cost (RM 50 for car, RM 30 for motorbike). Our first-attempt pass rate sits at 91%.

8. If we cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours notice

The rescheduled lesson is on us — free of charge. We track this as a quality metric internally and review every instance.

9. If we close before your package is complete

In the unlikely event that Omnitura ceases operations, all active learner balances will be refunded in full within 30 days, with priority over commercial creditors. Our office is bonded with the Malaysian Association of Driving Schools’ learner protection fund precisely for this scenario.

10. Disputes

If we can’t resolve a refund question to your satisfaction within 14 working days, you may escalate to the Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia (TTPM). We will support whatever ruling they reach.
