The eight-to-ten week journey
Week 1 — Onboarding
You meet your assigned instructor for a 20-minute consultation. We discuss your starting point, nerves, schedule and goal. KPP theory portal access is provisioned the same day and the L licence paperwork is filed.
Weeks 2–3 — Theory + cockpit familiarity
Self-paced KPP study (or a Saturday classroom batch). In parallel, we run two cockpit-familiarity sessions at the studio: pedal weight, mirror routine, blind-spot awareness, and the surprisingly tricky art of finding the bite point on a clutch.
Week 4 — L licence + first practicals
You sit the KPP01 computer test — if you’ve completed the study portal you’ll pass comfortably. Once the L licence is issued we begin practical lessons on quiet roads behind Bandar Puteri Puchong.
Weeks 5–7 — Open roads
Progressive expansion: from kampung roads to the LDP, NPE expressway and KESAS — with real-life judgement around motorbikes, lorries and the legendary KL roundabout. We document each session in your digital logbook.
Week 8 — Test route rehearsals
Two complete rehearsals on the JPJ Jalan Sungai Besi route, scored against the official JPJ marking sheet. Bukit, side parking, 3-point turn, parallel parking and live-traffic legs.
Week 9–10 — JPJ road test day
Your instructor meets you at Sungai Besi an hour early. Last-minute settling chat, a five-minute warm-up loop, and the test itself. Chocolate milk and a celebration photo are on us.
What we expect from you
- Attend at least two practical lessons per week to maintain momentum
- Complete 15–20 minutes of KPP portal study per day for the first three weeks
- Tell your instructor honestly when something doesn’t click — pride helps no one
- Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes (no slip-ons or high heels)
What if my schedule changes?
Lessons can be rescheduled up to 12 hours in advance at no charge. Same-day cancellations cost RM 25 to cover the instructor’s booked time. The 90-day window can be extended once by 30 days for shift workers, parents, or anyone juggling unexpected life things.
